ResponsibilitIes

As a Plumber (Water and Sewer Services) you would: 

  • Install, repair, and maintain water and sewer systems.
  • Inspect and test pipes, meters, valves, and treatment connections. 
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Respond to blockages, leaks, service calls and emergencies.
  • Record work completed and report issues.
  • Liaise with customers, councils, and operational teams.
  • Provide technical advice and ensure safe work practices.

Qualifications for this role

The following qualifications can be used to become a Plumber: 

  • Certificate III in Plumbing (AQF Level 3)
  • Licensed Plumber under state/territory authorities;
  • Ongoing WHS, confined space, and backflow prevention training.
