ResponsibilitIes
As a Plumber (Water and Sewer Services) you would:
- Install, repair, and maintain water and sewer systems.
- Inspect and test pipes, meters, valves, and treatment connections.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
- Respond to blockages, leaks, service calls and emergencies.
- Record work completed and report issues.
- Liaise with customers, councils, and operational teams.
- Provide technical advice and ensure safe work practices.
Qualifications for this role
The following qualifications can be used to become a Plumber:
- Certificate III in Plumbing (AQF Level 3)
- Licensed Plumber under state/territory authorities;
- Ongoing WHS, confined space, and backflow prevention training.
