Asset Information Officer

We are seeking an Asset Information Officer to join our Asset Management team.

The Asset Information Officer is responsible for the management of critical asset information generated through the operation, maintenance and creation of our water assets. This position also supports general technical activities led by the Assets team.

About the role:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of computer assisted design (CAD) drawings and records.
  • Prepare simple engineering designs and as-constructed drawings in support of various projects.
  • Provide support in the operation and maintenance of Aqwest’s asset management systems including asset data creation, maintenance and analysis.
  • Responsible for maintaining Aqwest’s Geographical Information System (GIS).
  • Provide support in the development, implementation, maintenance of Aqwest’s engineering design system, standards and framework.
  • Ensure asset records are accurate and easily accessible when required (i.e.: as-constructed data).
  • Undertake asset confirmation, monitoring and condition assessments.
