The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated.

As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front.

Together with our clients, we are thinking and doing things differently to help pre-empt and prepare for what's next. Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse water specialists and drive change for your community.

You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking Civil, Mechanical and Chemical Engineers with project management, design or planning experience in water infrastructure, water treatment or wastewater treatment, to join us to support our local client base in Bendigo.

We’re open to applicants at various career stages, and we’ll tailor the role to suit your skills – share your skills as a leader or mentor in a senior role, or develop your skillset working alongside our expert team!

We offer opportunities to work a diverse range of projects and with a broad range of clients within the Victorian, national and international water industry, on a variety of small, medium and large-scale projects.

You’ll be part of a professional, collaborative, and friendly team, where we value flexibility and wellbeing, and where your role can be full time or part time. This is a Bendigo based role, with occasional travel to Melbourne and other client locations.

This diverse and exciting position will see you involved in:

  • Project management and project support for water infrastructure or treatment projects
  • Using your technical and client relationship skills for the delivery of proposals, investigations and technical design projects
  • Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of multi-disciplinary studies and designs
  • Producing design drawings, reports and technical documents for water infrastructure and treatment projects that include:
    • water treatment plants
    • wastewater treatment and recycling plants
    • water storages, pipelines & pump stations
    • planning and modelling
  • Sharing skills and expertise through being a mentor and/or mentee within our collaborative and supportive team environment

What would you bring to the team?

  • Experience in a chemical, mechanical or civil engineering role that includes either water treatment, wastewater treatment, water storages, pipelines & pump station projects
  • Design or planning skills in water infrastructure, water or wastewater treatment, including producing or reviewing design reports, specifications and tender documentation
  • Experience in the development of engineering drawings and in the use of civil, hydraulic or process design software
  • Project management or project support experience
