We are an engineering firm specialising in providing engineering design and construction services to the water industry and for process plant utilities (water and wastewater treatment, dangerous and hazardous goods storage and handling, gas and vapour recovery and treatment).

We are requesting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced control and instrumentation candidates to support our business.  Based on the candidate, we can offer full-time, part-time or flexible working opportunities. We would consider electrical, instrument and control technicians as well as instrumentation and control engineers who are after a hands-on role.

The role requirements include:

• Design and specification of instrumentation and control systems, both analog and PLC control.
• Design of control panels for small water treatment systems, fluids handling systems, gas scrubbing process under guidance of process engineers.
• Fabrication of small panels.
• Contract management of construction of larger or multiple number of panels.
• Field commissioning of control systems, remote (solar powered) monitoring systems, remote data logging and telemetry systems.
• Installation of small level and flow control systems.
• Troubleshooting and rectification of level and flow control systems for clients.
• Supervision of external contractors.

Experience with the following would be advantageous:

• AutoCAD
• PLC Systems (particularly Siemens, AB and Schneider)
• Wildeye and Senquip data loggers / telemetry systems
• HART and MODBUS comms
