About the role

The Technical Specialist will take a lead role in reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations on technological solutions for the organisation. Based at our Head Office in Bairnsdale, the Technical Specialist will also provide technical product and vendor management services, and assist with the delivery of project implementation and technical support for new digital initiatives.

In this 2-year fixed term role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise their problem solving and analytical skills to provide innovative solutions for the organisation. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in advancing technologies, the ability to think critically, and the capability to prioritise tasks to ensure project milestones are reached.

The ability to distil and convey complex information to a broad range of internal and external customers is essential for the role to gain meaningful outcomes for our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, and a passion for digital innovation and seeing new initiatives come to fruition.

This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as a Band 3 position, from $70,081 to $91,032 per annum (plus 11% Superannuation). We reserve the right to remunerate the successful candidate based on skills, experience and qualifications.
