The Opportunity

Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to manage the Rosehill Recycled Water Network operations and maintenance based in Fairfield 2165. This role ensures contractual, environmental, and compliance requirements are met for the network comprising 3 storage reservoirs, 2 pump stations, and over 20km of pipeline delivering Recycled Water to industrial customers.

What you'll be responsible for

• Manage day-to-day operations and asset management activities for the Recycled Water Network.
• SCADA operation and recycled water supply system
• Spares, stores, preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Environmental, WHS and contractual compliance
• Contractor/supplier coordination and supervision
• Network operations monitoring and optimisation
• Permit to Work and induction systems management
• Planning, scheduling, risk assessments and operational meetings
• Oncall and emergency response management
• Project management for maintenance, renewals, shutdowns, capital works
• Reporting - financial, performance, KPIs, invoicing
• Manage business systems - procedures, work instructions, IBMS
• Supervise, train and coach plant technicians

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary or Trades qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process discipline
• Completion of Water Treatment Operators course or equivalent experience
• Experience in the management and operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plants or networks
• Experience in supervising operations and maintenance personnel, including contractors
