The Opportunity
Veolia Water is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to be based in Tugun 4224. Within this role you will lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex multi disciplined engineering projects at our Gold Coast Desalination Plant in Queensland.

What you'll be responsible for
- Lead project planning, execution and delivery across all plant sectors
- Develop detailed plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments and project documentation
- Coordinate and manage project teams including engineers, designers, analysts and trades
- Ensure adherence to Veolia's engineering processes, standards and best practices
- Manage project budgets, track expenditure and maintain schedule/budget
- Communicate project status, issues and accomplishments to stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior staff and project teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency and excellence.
- Actively contribute to cultivating a high performance culture focused on safety, quality, and outstanding outcomes
What you'll need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
- Experience in maintenance/asset engineering/project management
- Understanding of operating plant environments and management systems
