Our Vacancy

SUEZ is in the process of refreshing it strategy both globally and locally and is now looking for a Project Control LEad to manage SUEZ’s Engineering & Construction Project Schedules at bidding and execution phases and contribute to the control of planning risks and opportunities by applying the processes implemented by SUEZ.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Provide direction for the project team in relation to schedule, cost, risk, governance, assurance, and reporting functions across the asset life cycle.
  • Establish and maintain an effective project control function to oversee the project.
  • Develop the general planning of the project based on a preliminary Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Contribute to the analysis the risks and opportunities related to planning.
  • Establish and share all the hypotheses considered as well as the analysis of the critical path of the project.
  • Maintain simple, consistent, and transparent information on the project to enable effective delivery and encourage efficient input and quality output.
  • Develop project baseline.
  • Coordinate with project team to define the basic sequences and tasks.
  • Produce the reference S curves and dashboards needed to run the project.
  • Realise the time management plan of the project which will detail the assumptions and the planning strategy defined for the project.
  • Review performance analysis and reporting to proactively identify delivery risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive a culture of achievement and acknowledgement input or others.

Essential requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Project Control Lead or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in project scheduling for a major infrastructure.
  • Depth of experience in the development and implementation of governance, risk, assurance, and reporting framework.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee scheduling conflicts and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex scheduling information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.

Desirable skills

  • Adaptable and able to react to project adjustments, design changes and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Willingness to mobilise for projects if required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) a plus.
