We’re looking for a Market Development Lead to join the Dams and Geotech Management Services (DGMS) team. 
The ideal candidate will grow the business with profitable customer contracts and annuity revenue streams to deliver above budgeted performance and growth.  This role will also develop and foster strong internal relationships within the regional GHD business to the degree that opportunities are referred to DGMS. 

In this role you will:

  • Build and manage a strong 12–24-month pipeline of opportunity in the Dams and Tailings markets with a focus on 90 day deliverables that deliver a better than budget performance
  • Active preparation of formal proposals with active follow-up to close sales​
  • Grow the business through collaborating with relevant Service Lines and CRMs/CETs and with other GHD BUs ​to identify sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with DGMS team in a coordinated and structured sales approach
  • Identify direct opportunities that meet our strategic objectives delivering Assurance through Monitoring in our targeted markets
  • Use the capability of DGMS to be able to independently engage with clients at the business (not technical) level to identify enterprise level contractual relationships

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Strong commercial experience in a similar role with supporting credentials or related degree with proven experience in growing business and client relationships
  • Key industry knowledge including the Mining & Resources, Water & Geotech sectors, understanding of technology as an enabler, product related sales cycles, productised solutions and managed service delivery
  • Proven track record in delivering commercially successful outcomes of engineering/technology-based sales solutions​, consultative-selling approach and ability to close deals
  • Ability to build relationships with senior level decision makers, gaining access to business development conversations with targeted customer opportunities
  • Skill in describing value to clients on their terms, to the degree customers understand how InsightVision will benefit them
  • Strong organisation skills and a proven ability to work with team members through to senior level stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
