Veolia Water Australia is seeking an experienced Asset Planner to join our team based in Tugun 4224. In this key role, you'll develop and execute asset management strategies to maximise the lifecycle of critical infrastructure assets.

What you'll be responsible for

• Analyse asset data, forecast future needs, and assist in developing site capital/maintenance plans and budgets to maintain assets in optimal condition
• Conduct long-term asset maintenance planning and review synergies with capital and preventative maintenance programs
• Collect, analyse, and interpret asset data using CMMS and asset management tools to support decision-making
• Manage CMMS data integrity and updates to ensure accurate and up to date information
• Collaborate with central asset teams on trend analysis, optimisation opportunities, and reporting efficiencies
• Provide decision support analysis and recommendations to leadership on asset investments
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams on asset needs and requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis and reliability investigations from CMMS data
• Develop strategies to optimise maintenance spend through procurement improvements or capability development
• Review maintenance planning/scheduling workflows and recommend preventative maintenance optimisation
• Coordinate with contractors to support maintenance activities
• Proactively recommend improvements to maintenance methods and management systems

What you'll need to be successful

• Trade qualification and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
• Asset management experience
• Experience in water treatment or industrial system operations is desirable
