The Opportunity

Veolia Water is seeking an exceptional Projects Lead to drive the delivery of our projects portfolio in the NSW Central, region to support multi billion dollar water assets. In this pivotal role, based in Kurnell 2231, you will ensure project targets and commitments are met while enhancing Veolia's reputation for safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

What you'll be responsible for

• Oversee project delivery, meeting safety, financial, environmental, and operational KPIs
• Manage the NSW Central projects portfolio within budget, resource, and risk parameters
• Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and technicians
• Implement project management frameworks, systems, and tools for optimal delivery
• Identify and implement improvements to optimise project, program, and portfolio performance
• Develop high-performing teams through fostering a culture of learning and career progression
• Collaborate with operational leadership for seamless project execution
• Ensure financial management, resource management, reporting, and governance across projects
• Escalate project issues and changes to relevant stakeholders
• Build effective relationships with clients, internal/external stakeholders to promote Veolia's capabilities
• Foster a culture aligned with Our Values and Our Always Safe charter

What You'll Need to be Successful

• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Proven ability to establish and maintain long term client relationships
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial and contract negotiations for projects
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
