The Opportunity

Veolia Water Australia is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Manufactured Water Projects team in Calamvale, 4116. This is an exciting opportunity to initiate and deliver critical projects and manage change related to our Western Corridor Recycled Water Project.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Prepare and manage project documentation including scope, schedules, risk assessments and design reviews
  • Coordinate design modifications and updates to drawings, manuals and procedures
  • Liaise with operations, maintenance, procurement and asset management teams
  • Conduct contracting and procurement activities in preparation for the execution of projects
  • Manage project budgets, purchase orders, invoices and progress claims
  • Ensure adherence to quality, OH&S and environmental policies and procedures
  • Ensuring a safety first and continuous improvement culture.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience in an operating plant environment
  • Familiarity with quality, environmental and OH&S management systems
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to deliver multiple projects concurrently
