The Opportunity
Veolia Water Operations is seeking an experienced Asset Planning and Project Engineer to join our team at the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project in Murarrie, 4172. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering the long term capital program for this major water infrastructure project.

What you'll be responsible for
- Collaborating with operational teams and SMEs to ensure the effective development, prioritisation and delivery of the long term capital program
- Developing business cases for asset renewals and scheme improvement projects
- Supporting asset condition assessments and gathering performance data
- Undertaking options analysis for asset renewals
- Developing project scopes, schedules, risk plans and budgets for renewal options
- Engagement of service providers to conduct detailed design and engineering studies
- Managing subcontractors, consultants and budgets
- Providing technical support for the projects delivery team, including involvement in HAZIDs, HAZOPS, design reviews and acceptance testing
- Assisting the projects and operational teams with technical support
What you'll need to be successful
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Project planning, design or delivery experience
- Proven skills in writing business cases for asset renewal and improvement projects
