SUEZ is a partnership with SA Water delivering together in the Production and Treatment (P&T) Alliance trusted water services for a sustainable and healthy South Australia.  Responsible for operating and maintaining five water treatment plants,  five wastewater treatment plants, tanks, pump stations and control installations in Metropolitan Adelaide, the P&T Alliance encompasses expertise and solutions from SUEZ and SA Water working collaboratively as one team, one brand with shared responsibility for trusted water services that our community needs now and into the future. 

Our Vacancy

We are looking for a Project Coordinator – CWS to join our Contract, Procurement & Performance business unit for a 24-month fixed-term contract (FTC). In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the successful delivery of SA Water capital projects across our Customer Water Supply assets. Your coordination will be essential for our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams and SA Water Capital Works project managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, execution, and coordination among stakeholders.
• Foster collaborative relationships with SA Water and Project Managers.
• Serve as a point of contact for operational information and comment.
• Identify risks and collaborate on proactive solutions.
• Support the coordination of resources for capital works delivery.
• Review Construction Method Statements and facilitate contractor inductions, isolations and permitting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate plant hand over and Operational acceptance to performance requirements, including all commissioning requirements 
• Participate in a 1 in 4 On-call roster for the Customer Water Supply (South Metro) team.

About You

To excel in this role you will need:

• Experience in coordinating construction projects.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and Safety In Design.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Current unrestricted driver’s license.
• Experience in operations or maintenance of water/wastewater facilities preferred but not mandatory.
• Relevant engineering or trade qualifications are highly desirable.
