The Role

Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Southeast Queensland (SEQ), these awards bring a secure 10 year pipeline of work.

We are looking for a senior or principal level electrical and controls engineer to join our Brisbane office. By joining our team, you will gain exposure to projects across all industries including municipal water and wastewater, mining, coal seam gas, and transport and will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with both interstate and international offices.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Deliver electrical engineering and process automation solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated systems including HVAC, ventilation, and fire protection.

  • You will be involved in delivering electrical and controls design packages for projects across QLD, Northern NSW and Asia Pacific

  • Contribute and lead the preparation of proposals, design schedules, budgets and technical and commercial submissions for bid proposals associated with electrical process automation and controls for external clients; either as standalone bids or as part of wider project teams,

  • From a technical perspective, you will be responsible for:

    • Electrical systems design including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications;

    • Technical studies including modelling and computational analysis;

    • Electrical project cost estimating;

    • Computer aided drafting.

  • Mentor junior members of the team.

The qualities that help you thrive

  • Demonstrated experience on municipal water and/or wastewater projects

  • Experience working within a dynamic consulting and design environment & industrial automation and electrical, instrument and control systems engineering.

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering & CPEng / RPEQ

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Project Management & Quality Management procedures (desirable).
