Salary Range: $59,392.02 - $60,154.26 per annum + applicable allowances + added value of overtime & penalty rates depending on work performed
Position Type: 1x Full-Time Permanent & 3x Full-Time Temporary until Nov 2026

We have exciting opportunities for hardworking and reliable labourers to join our Water Services Team!
What you Will do:
You will assist with Council’s dedication to deliver essential water services that keep our community healthy, safe, and running smoothly. You will play a vital role by assisting in maintaining and improving water reticulation assets.
Your daily activities could include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water reticulation mains, service connections, water meters, valves, and hydrants.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performing water main and service locations.
- Troubleshooting issues in water delivery systems and working to resolve them promptly.
- Ensuring work sites are clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Secondary education to Year 10.
- A current MR class drivers’ licence.
- Construction White Card
- Working in Proximity to Traffic (WPT) – Awareness Parts 1 & 2
- Physical wellbeing to receive training and accreditation for entry into confined spaces.
- Previous experience in water systems maintenance and construction works.
- Good written and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
- Basic Computer Skills
