The Opportunity
While water is the world’s most precious resource, at

We are looking for an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter
to join our current group of passionate engineers, designers and project
managers.
Key Responsibilities
· Import & manipulate survey data.
· Produce detailed civil drawings/models including
site layouts, earthworks, stormwater, below ground piping and road designs.
· Export bulk earthwork and material quantities.
· Collaborate with civil engineers to deliver
plans for construction.
·
Support project teams with documentation,
revisions and coordination of drawings/models.
· Establishing
& maintaining design templates and drawing standards.
The roles can be offered on a permanent full or part time
basis as we encourage our people to find an arrangement that works for them.
This role can be based at: Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle or Brisbane.
About
you
You’ll be seeking fulfilment
through autonomy, career flexibility, and working for a business that provides
purpose and relevance in what you do. With outstanding communication skills and
the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes, you’ll have
experience working in a consulting environment, delivering projects as part of
a multi-disciplinary and multi-office team.
Your
ideal skills and expertise:
- Proficient
in relevant CAD software, Autodesk Civil 3D (Civil role) & Autodesk
Plant 3D (Mechanical role), a strong understanding of Autocad is essential
for both roles.
- Experience in water and
wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
- Strong
technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability
to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety in design,
constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards
and WSAA codes.
- Relevant TAFE qualifications, diploma, or degree in drafting, engineering, or design
- Understanding of risk management and the ability to identify project and design-related risks.
- Commitment to working safely and within the company’s HSEQ systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for engaging with a broad range of audiences.
- Willingness to travel
occasionally as required.

knowledge. You are a Designer/Drafter, passionate about your work
and have a keen interest in the water sector combined with a passion for design
and problem-solving with an enquiring mind, ability to problem solve, and think
laterally.
