Job Description
AECOM’s Water Team in Perth is currently looking for a proven water infrastructure engineer, who has a passion for technical excellence and is keen to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in a global organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in the growth of the team, mentoring and developing emerging engineers to shape our future professionals while working on a range of projects for a range of internal and external clients covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors.
How you’ll make a difference
Lead the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, desalination plants, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in coordinating, managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients and local, regional, and global AECOM colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.

Relevant tertiary qualifications, CPEng accreditation, and strong knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
Proven experience in water and/or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments, including work with local provider Water Corporation.
Demonstrated leadership of project or technical teams, with a passion for high-quality project delivery.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and client engagement skills, with an interest in mentoring others.
