About the role:
Tsurumi
Australia is seeking a full-time technical Wastewater Specialist who’s aim is
to achieve sales growth nationally while directly reporting to the National
Sales Manager. The role will primarily target government authorities, municipal
and general wastewater customers to build Tsurumi’s wastewater business. We expect the
candidate to be organized and able to work without supervision daily as this
role could be working from home, from any location in Australia.

Tsurumi be known and recognised as one of the leading submersible pump
manufacturers in Australia since opening our operations in 2019. Tsurumi pumps
are manufactured in Japan and are leading providers of customised and
engineered pump solutions into the resources sector. We supply new pumps, replacements,
and spare parts for clients across the country.
Key
responsibilities within the role include:

Growing sales
numbers throughout Australia with new and existing accounts targeting the
wastewater market primarily with existing distributors, government utilities, municipalities,
and general wastewater market
·
Developing new
relationships with key decision makers throughout Australia
·
Proactively target
consultants to have Tsurumi pumps specified in tenders
·
Target government
and municipal wastewater customers to obtain approved supplier status
·
Managing technical
sales processes with the ability to get hands on with our products
·
Reporting directly
to the National Sales Manager around sales targets and results
·
Regional and
interstate travel to promote sales to new and existing clients
·
The ability to
articulate technical solutions to your clients across a range of product
categories with a focus on pump and water treatment products
About You/Skills Required:
·
Have experience
within wastewater treatment and sludge handling process
·
Understanding selection
of pumps, screens, dehydrators, aerators and mixers
·
Have a strong
background in account management and servicing existing clients
·
Be able to develop
new relationships with key decision makers and acquire strong business
development
·
Have experience in
managing external sales processes from beginning to end
·
Come from a
technical background either with an engineering degree or technical trade
· Strong communication and enthusiasm
· Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
