We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Pilot Plant Engineer/Technician to join our team at Osmoflo. If you’re customer-focused, technically minded, and thrive in both field and office environments, this is your chance to make a real impact in the water treatment industry.

In this exciting role, you’ll be at the frontline of showcasing our technology to clients through pilot plants – where you’ll demonstrate our value proposition and help translate pilot data into full-scale system designs.

Key Responsibilities

As the Pilot Plant Engineer/Technician, you will:

  • Act as Osmoflo’s on-site representative, building strong client relationships and promoting our capabilities.
  • Support the development, setup, monitoring, and reporting of pilot systems.
  • Prepare plant performance reports and translate pilot data into scalable system design inputs.
  • Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain pilot equipment, contributing hands-on support where required.
  • Collect and analyse operational data, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and contributing to innovative solutions.
  • Champion safety and quality practices in all site and office activities.

What We’re Looking For 

Essential:

  • Commercial or industrial water treatment experience.
  • Willingness to learn (training on Cerflo / Cerafiltec membranes provided).
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and work at remote sites as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Practical, ‘hands-on’ approach with problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and strong documentation skills.
  • We are flexible on location, with opportunities available across our sites in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Desirable:

  • Mechanical, Electrical, other Trade or Engineering qualification.
  • Knowledge of process engineering and water chemistry.
  • Experience with chemical handling.
