The opportunity
We now have this great opportunity available to
join our Asset Systems & Information team!
This is a strategic role where you will be responsible
for providing technical and leadership expertise in Asset Information
Management (AIM). You will lead the development,
implementation, and continuous improvement of asset information systems,
frameworks, and processes ensuring alignment with AMAF, GFMAM, ISO 55000, and
Greater Western Water's (GWW) strategic objectives.
You will be a program lead for the Data and Asset
Information management workstreams within the Asset Management Improvement
Roadmap (AMIR), playing a key role in lifting AIM maturity across the
organisation.

Responsibilities
· Lead
the Data and Asset Information workstream within the Asset Management
Improvement Roadmap (AMIR), reporting into the Asset Management Improvement
Hub.
· Drive
uplift in asset information maturity across the business by embedding improved
practices and systems that support lifecycle asset management.
· Promote,
train, and champion the use of AIM practices, standards, systems, and tools
across and beyond the organisation.
·
Lead the identification and implementation of AIM
process improvements, aligning with AMAF, GFMAM, and ISO 55000.
·
Provide subject matter expertise on AIM strategy,
asset data governance, and industry-leading practices to internal stakeholders
and project teams.
·
Engage with stakeholders to define business needs,
translate them into functional requirements, and deliver scalable AIM
solutions.
· Promote
adoption and integration and ensure consistency and use of GWW’s AIM processes,
procedures, and system functions throughout the organisation.
Skills & Experience
·
Proven expertise in asset management principles, methodologies, and the
full asset and service delivery lifecycle.
·
Project management experience coupled with scoping, delivering, and
implementing business improvement initiatives.
·
In-depth knowledge of ISO 55000 standards, AMAF compliance requirements,
and GFMAM.
·
Proven experience in delivering effective process improvements aligned
with business needs and strategic objectives.
·
Ability to manage and prioritise complex technical tasks.
·
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills,
with a strong aptitude for negotiation and influence.
·
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively and contribute to board
papers.
·
Essential tertiary degree in relevant engineering (or related) field.
