The opportunity

Join GWW in this role working within our Growth and Infrastructure function!

 

In this role you will work across renewal projects within water and sewer assets to ensure that we maintain as a trusted water service.

 

Day-to-day you will be involved in developing a schedule of renewal projects, maintaining a future pipeline of works, issuing, evaluating, and awarding projects/packages of work, and supporting the delivery of various renewal projects.

Responsibilities

·         Maintain a renewals program of work pipeline

·         Lead the renewal procurement and tendering process, which includes schedule, prepare packages of works and issue works for delivery.

·         Support and lead the management of projects in accordance with GWW’s project management framework.

·         Maintain data to enable the tracking of expenditure across the renewals program.

 

Skills & Experience

·         Experience working in water and sewer asset construction is highly regarded.

·         Experience in coordinating and scheduling programs of work.

  • Familiar with the tendering process would be an advantage.
  • Confidence in working with a diverse range of stakeholders from internal partners to delivery construction partners, councils, external authorities, legal and community groups.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to engage and work to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Proficient Excel skills and experience in the use extracting data from Power BI dashboards.
  • This role involves travel across our service region, a current Victorian driver's license is essential.
