  • Participate in and lead meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and coordination across project specifications.

  • Act as a technical specialist for the team, provide guidance to junior staff, and occasionally supervise project resources including budget and scheduling.

  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and design approaches for small projects; contribute to proposals, client interviews, and contract negotiations.

  • Resolve complex engineering issues using advanced knowledge and experience, while staying updated on new methods and developments in civil engineering.

  • Apply knowledge of Western Australia’s market and Water Corporation design standards; contribute to the development of new civil design standards and specifications.

  • Provide technical input into feasibility studies and complex design challenges, offering practical and cost-effective solutions.

  • Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth within a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
