Growth Intelligence Lead

You will lead delivery of Sydney Water’s Growth Intelligence operations producing the Growth Servicing Plan, and providing detailed growth forecasts, analysis and strategic advice to inform both the capital planning and delivery program, and to facilitate early engagement and collaboration with NSW Planning.

About the role:

• Leads and facilitates direct engagement and relationships between Sydney Water and NSW Planning and local Councils on current and future city planning, development and Government expectations.
• Prepares reports on changes to growth, growth timing and proposed land use, to support Sydney Water’s service planning processes and capital investment.
• Undertake detailed analysis to produce growth forecasts and market intelligence for SW planning and investment decisions
• Leads projects to develop new and improve existing systems, processes and operations within the growth team.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in urban planning, water services planning, development servicing or other relevant industry experience
• Extensive knowledge of growth intelligence, urban planning, and development servicing.
• Experienced in effective communication, including the preparation of graphical presentations using databases, statistical analysis and other tools.
• Demonstrated ability to form and maintain strong, constructive and effective business relationships and partnerships across government agencies and the urban development industry
• Advanced capability to use spatial GIS systems
