As the Principal Water Services Engineer, you’ll provide senior technical leadership in water and sewerage engineering, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective service delivery aligned with Council’s strategic objectives. You’ll lead network planning, oversee infrastructure projects, and mentor operational teams to deliver excellence in water services.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead planning, design, construction, and maintenance of water and sewerage reticulation networks.

• Develop hydraulic models and network planning reports.

• Provide expert advice on development applications and technical submissions.

• Manage contracts, procurement, and project delivery.

• Monitor budgets and support cost-effective operations.

• Ensure compliance with water quality standards and legislation.

• Mentor and support the Reticulation Team and collaborate across departments.
