About the Role
Our ANZ Finance function is going through an exciting phase of change and transformation. Reporting to the Head of Finance, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, This appointment will be our key guardian of financial accuracy, a driver of operational efficiency and a key contributor to cash flow and vendor trust, supporting us in underpinning the financial health and reputation of SUEZ ANZ.
This hands-on role is responsible for financial accuracy and compliance, cash flow management, cost control and efficiency, vendor relationship management and making an impact to our broader finance function.
More specifically, the role will validate and process supplier invoices, ensure accurate and timely payments, provide clear and reliable visibility of accounts payable data, and act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, resolving enquiries promptly and professionally. Through strong controls, reconciliation, and risk awareness, the role supports cash flow management and helps mitigate financial and operational risk.
Further, you will partner with our broader Finance team, Procurement, and various operational teams to ensure strong Purchase-to-Pay fundamentals, including 3-way matching.
This position suits someone who takes ownership of their work, operates with a high level of accuracy and accountability, and enjoys working collaboratively within a professional finance environment.
About You
This role will suit an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a solid understanding of end-to-end AP processes and a strong track record in managing invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations accurately and efficiently. Hands-on SAP experience is essential, along with sound knowledge of GST compliance and expense management.
Success in the role will be supported by clear communication with both internal stakeholders and suppliers, a high level of attention to detail, and a reliable, accountable approach to work.
The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvement and will appeal to someone who brings a continuous improvement mindset and is willing to support process and system enhancements as they are introduced.
The position is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
