About the Water Sector

From the operation and management of bulk and retail water networks, treatment plants, pump stations, desalination and catchment assets we provide asset inspection, monitoring, operations and maintenance and capital works delivery.
About the Role
Based at our Pinkenba office, you’ll play a key role in keeping Queensland’s water network running smoothly with a focus on South East Queensland.
You’ll take charge of planning, scheduling, and coordinating minor capital works and maintenance activities across the QLD Water contracts at the Port of Brisbane, plus selected services for Urban Utilities across South-East Queensland.
What you’ll do:
- Own scheduling, reporting, and compliance across the contract.
- Work with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to secure materials, equipment, and ensure isolation plans, permits, and quality compliance.
- Develop and manage long- and short-term maintenance and project timelines.
- Manage workflow queues for corrective and preventive tasks.
- Track execution and feed insights back for continuous improvement.
- Handle requisitions, financial transactions, and system updates using SAP, Ariba, and Tech1.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Tech1, and Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Strong organisational, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and project coordination.
- Experience in the water industry, particularly with Urban Utilities or similar clients is critical
