Lead Maintenance Specialist

• Drive Asset maintenance and renewal strategies optimising our network performance and sustainability
• Provide technical leadership balancing cost, risk and performance.
• Potts Hill based, with hybrid working options and travel to sites as needed.

About the role:

Provide maintenance expertise for water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater systems to meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements. This role will specifically focus on Civil infrastructure assets

What you will be doing: 

• Develop and manage maintenance programs for civil assets to ensure reliability and performance.
• Monitor delivery partners to achieve service, cost, and risk targets.
• Review maintenance outcomes and drive improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Design and implement asset and product programs to maintain system capability and support key business activities.
• Offer technical expertise in water quality, odour and corrosion control, system analysis, and treatment processes. 

Your Experience and Qualifications:

In addition to a tertiary qualification in Engineering, preferably civil or another relevant discipline, and a full current drivers license, we are ideally looking for:

• Demonstrated professional experience in Plant Operations or asset management
• Well developed stakeholder management abilities
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to problem solve engineering and operational issues.
