WSP Australia’s Water Business Group is growing. We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our NSW Water Utilities team. Whether you’re already leading complex delivery or ready for the next step, you’ll find the support, flexibility, and runway to thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive civil design development and delivery across the water full project life cycle, ensuring outputs meet the highest technical standards.
  • Produce and review clear, high-quality technical documentation that communicates complex concepts effectively.
  • Apply your understanding of design and design management across diverse projects and program work packages.
  • Collaborate within the design team to enhance client satisfaction, exceed expectations, and deliver outstanding results.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of winning proposals and pursuits.
  • Assist with project and design management across a range of water infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure programs that shape communities.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
  • Exposure to design management for water and wastewater projects.
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and WSAA codes (advantageous).
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D modelling and 2D/3D CADD software (advantageous).
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal—with the ability to consult effectively with clients and collaborate internally.
