The Role

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to grow Xylem’s presence in the mining and industrial markets across NSW and QLD.

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and execute sales plans with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve revenue and profit targets.

·         Conduct regular visits to key customers, providing expert advice and tailored solutions from Xylem’s Water Infrastructure portfolio.

·         Identify tender opportunities and future projects, building a strong industrial sales pipeline and promoting Xylem products and services.

·         Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and deliver actionable reports and account plans to support business objectives.

·         Work closely with the Sales team, participate in campaigns and events, and maintain accurate updates in Salesforce CRM.

Skills and Experience

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and sales, ideally within the Municipal/ Utility sector.

·         Tertiary qualifications in sales, engineering, or business are highly desirable.

·         Strong negotiation and effective relationship building skills

·         Comprehensive market knowledge and proficient client management
