About the opportunity

If you are a digital-first marketing manager who wants to build something meaningful and enjoy real autonomy to define how marketing operates and supports organisational strategy, you’re in the right place.

This is a highly-visible role and a pivotal moment in time for this respected not for profit brand.

Following a period of sustained growth including an expanded product and service mix; a significant opportunity exists to build future-ready marketing capability and systems.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services and leading a diverse team of 4; the marketing manager will balance strategy with execution across campaigns, events, advocacy, learning and development, membership and new platform launches.

Key responsibilities include:

·         drive marketing maturity and capability uplift across systems, data, and execution

·         build and embed effective marketing systems, workflows, and planning discipline

·         lead digital marketing, including lead generation and nurture

·         own CRM and marketing automation to inform data-driven decision-making

·         own website UX, interface and brand alisngment across all marketing channels

·         lead, develop, and support a capable marketing teamoversee content strategy and production (digital, publicaitons, social)

·         act as marketing lead for major campaigns, events, and organisational initiatives

·         manage agencies, vendors, and budgets to support specialist execution

·         use insights and reporting to continuously improve marketing performance.

About you

You’re a digital marketing leader who enjoys building clarity, structure and momentum.

You’re commercially minded and data-focused, with a strong grasp of lead generation, funnels, and attribution.

You have hands-on knowledge of CRM and marketing automation and know how to use data to inform better decisions.

You naturally balance strategy with execution and can step in where needed.

You enjoy building systems, workflows, and planning discipline, not just running campaigns.

You’re comfortable in a growth environment with evolving systems, ambiguity and competing priorities. You see such challenges as an opportunity to improve.

You’re a confident people leader who can support diverse working styles and balance flexibility with accountability.

You’re an influential communicator with strong stakeholder skills and an ability to work effectively with agencies and vendors.

You’re motivated by purpose and impact and have a genuine service mindset.

About the future

This is a newly-created role in an evolving organisation at an exciting time. 

While it is offered as a 12 month contract initially, there is an expectation that this role will be part of the future organisational structure, which will be defined in mid 2026.

Some key success measures for the contract period include:

·         improved digital and lead generation capability

·         more efficient use of CRM and marketing automation

·         documented and repeatable marketing plans

·         improved team capability and confidence

·         more insightful marketing reporting

·         improved systemisation and automation to reduce manual effort over time

·         greater clarity, more consistent delivery and an uplift in digital literacy across the marketing function.
