The Opportunity

Our flooding team deliver projects across various industries, including aviation, major infrastructure, defense, land development, water and power. We collaborate with key clients such as Melbourne Airport and Brisbane Airport, work closely with Melbourne Water on numerous projects, and are part of the Water4Good partnership. With our growing workload, our team gain wide industry exposure while tackling complex challenges together across various sectors. You’ll be part of a fast-growing national team supporting projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on worksharing between countries that drives collaboration and knowledge sharing. Transport, airports, energy, rail, water, and advisory are amongst the markets that you could be expecting to contribute your knowledge and skills towards.

We value internal and external technical training and are regular attendees of the annual Stormwater Victoria and Floodplain Management Australia conferences. We are actively involved with industry bodies including Stormwater Victoria, YFM and FMA, and maintain strong professional relationships across the sector. We actively encourage team members to express their interest in attending relevant training sessions, workshops or conferences, with the flexibility and ability to take ownership over their own career development to expand their technical knowledge and professional network.
About you
You have a Washington Accord recognised degree (or equivalent) and are either in the process of working towards, or already have, Engineers Australia Chartership (CPEng). You will be supported through Beca's close industry relationship with Engineers Australia to finalise your chartership if not already completed.
You will have experience using RORB and TUFLOW in a consultancy environment, and are eager to apply your knowledge to a new range of projects across a variety of markets, and to share that knowledge with others.
