- Full-time permanent opportunity located at St Marys or Quaker Hill WRRF
- Operating plants at St Marys WRRF, Quakers Hill WRRF and Client recycled water plants in Zetland and Parramatta.

About the role
The Wianamatta Hub consists St Marys WRRF, Quakers Hill WRRF and client RWTP, with this position seeing you based out of St Marys or Quaker Hill. We hope to make this placement a great learning and development experience for the successful applicant.
Production Officers at Wianamatta hub are responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater and recycled water treatment equipment to meet legislative and product requirements, as well as meet customer, safety and efficiency targets.
- Operate the plants in alignment with approved Production plans ensuring licence and regulatory compliance, and approved budgets
- Responsible for maintaining production availability in alignment with operational risk appetite, production and asset plans
- Take measurements from installed field instruments and execute lab testing, as required
- Perform process and equipment monitoring using SCADA
- Execute on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes and procedures
- Apply isolation to assets and perform LOTO for work to be completed
- Perform maintenance tasks, within capability and capacity
About you
This position will suit a team member with a background in water, wastewater and/or utilities having experience in operational and production settings showcasing your ability to work as a strong team player and demonstrating your knowledge of workplace health and safety.
A current Electrical licence, or progress towards an electrical or Instrumentation qualification, will be considered a strong advantage. In addition:
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications or equivalent experience / Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science.
- Relevant experience in production or manufacturing environment
- An ability to work well within a multi-disciplined team, be people oriented and responsive to call outs and overtime
- Ability to solve asset and process issues within capability
- Client interactions to mindset to deliver exceptional service.
- Microsoft Office application and ability to learn and use customised software packages
- Proven capabilities that would enable process and asset related diagnosis and maintenance
- Some experience in a production environment or asset maintenance.
- Exposure to safety, environment and quality management systems.
