In South Australia, we partner with SA Water to deliver essential water services across Metropolitan Adelaide as the Production & Treatment (P&T) Alliance. Together, we operate and maintain five water treatment plants, five wastewater treatment plants, numerous pump stations and associated infrastructure — ensuring safe, sustainable and reliable water services for our communities.

Why this role matters
Every great alliance needs a navigator - someone who can read the data, see the story behind the numbers, and guide the organisation toward smarter decisions. Our SA Alliance is looking to appoint a Business Performance Lead, who will control our architecture of our IT solutions and systems for regulatory reporting. you become that navigator.
You will shape the architecture behind the P&T Alliance’s most critical reporting systems—systems that keep our regulatory, commercial, and operational performance on track. You are able to turn raw data into powerful insights, ensuring every KPI tells the truth and every trend points us toward improvement.
You will enhance processes and support in driving our transformation. Modernising how we work, you will engage closely with a wide range of business leaders at a Head office and operational level, championing digital tools, unlocking smarter analytics, and elevate the customer experience for every stakeholder across the Alliance.
Your leadership empowers a small, high‑performing team and your influencing skills will further strengthen relationships across SA Water, SUEZ, and our internal partners. Your expertise ensures we remain compliant, efficient, future‑focused, and always improving.
This is a critical appointment as performance doesn’t manage itself. It needs a strategist. A communicator. A builder of systems. A champion of continuous improvement.
About you
With tertiary qualifications gained in a related discipline, your background can demonstrate proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance management within an operational, service delivery, or regulatory environment, supported by proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other data visualisation or reporting systems.
With advanced analytical and a true passion for problem solving, you can translate complex operational and financial information into clear insights that drive business improvement.. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement are essential as is your ability to collaborate with various teams, senior leaders, and external partners. Ideally, you possess experience in KPI management frameworks, continuous improvement methodologies, and digital transformation initiatives. Sound organisational skills, a customer‑focused mindset, and an ability to influence outcomes are key attributes, complemented by experience leading small teams or contributing to cross‑functional projects. This combination of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and people capability enables a Business Performance Lead to uplift reporting maturity, enhance decision‑making, and support high‑performance culture across the organisation.
