About the role

This role provides overall leadership of the Customer Service teams supporting customers across all Xylem segments in the Australia and New Zealand region. A key focus of the role is embedding a strong customer-first culture and driving continuous improvement, encouraging teams to consistently find better, faster, and more effective ways to serve customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, diverse Customer Service team aligned to Xylem High Impact Culture.
  • Drive a strong customer-first and continuous improvement mindset to enhance service quality and team accountability.
  • Partner with Xylem ANZ Sales and cross-functional teams to support the full customer journey, from pre-sales through after-sales support.
  • Monitor performance metrics to improve productivity, accuracy, customer experience, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure strong process discipline, effective use of Xylem core systems (ERP, CRM, SCPQ), and full compliance with quality and safety standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience within a customer service or support environment, with strong people management and team development capability.
  • Background working experience in a technical environment , with marketing and sales, or STEAM discipline is preferable, with 3–5 years’ experience in a technical or sales role is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the Water Industry or strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated experience supporting sales enablement and delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems (SAP preferred), with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and industry standards.
