As a Treatment Plant Assistant Operator on a 12-month max term engagement, you will support the safe and reliable operation of Unitywater’s sewage treatment and recycled water plants across the Noosa, Coolum, Cooroy and Kenilworth locations. In this hands-on role, you will assist Treatment Plant Operators with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of treatment facilities, helping to ensure processes run efficiently and meet environmental and compliance requirements.
You will be involved in monitoring plant performance, including the use of SCADA systems, identifying trends, and assisting with basic troubleshooting activities. The role also includes collecting samples, carrying out routine analysis, and supporting accurate data entry and reporting.
In addition, you will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented site through general housekeeping and grounds maintenance. This position offers a strong development opportunity, providing exposure to a range of operational activities and the chance to build your skills through training, professional development, and on-the-job learning within the water industry.

- A Certificate III in Wastewater Treatment is desirable.
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence.
