Our Opportunity

This is an opportunity to become part of a team supporting the Adelaide community through the maintenance of the Glenelg, Christies Beach, and Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plants. This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity to join a high‑performing team delivering critical wastewater services across multiple operational sites, including southern pumping stations in metropolitan As part of the Production & Treatment Alliance with SA Water, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of essential wastewater infrastructure—directly contributing to safe, sustainable services for the community.

This role offers a strong platform for someone looking to step into or elevate their leadership capability, with ownership across two  workshops based at Glenelg and Christies Beach with multidisciplinary teams, and both mechanical & electrical maintenance functions.

About the Role

As the Wastewater Maintenance Supervisor – South, you will lead the planning, coordination, and

efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery  of maintenance activities across multiple wastewater treatment assets.

You will be responsible for driving preventive and corrective maintenance performance, improving asset reliability, and strengthening team accountability across two sectors. The role includes identifying and supporting major maintenance and capital works opportunities, translating operational needs into clear technical and financial business cases, and working closely with capital delivery teams. Proactive leadership and collaboration, structured planning, and a strong continuous improvement mindset will set you apart.

What You’ll Bring

You’re an experienced supervisor or emerging leader from an industrial, utilities, or maintenance environment who knows how to get the best out of teams. You bring structure, clear communication, and a proactive mindset.

A mechanical or electrical trade background is highly regarded, along with experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo or equivalent. Most importantly, you’re a trusted leader who can manage complex priorities while setting clear expectations and supporting your team to deliver consistent outcomes.
