We are currently growing our team and are looking to appoint motivated and exceptional individuals to join our team in the roles of Senior or Mid-level Water Design Engineers. The ideal candidates will sound technical engineering background and skills and have a passion for delivering positive outcomes for the environment, enthusiasm for delivering high quality work and an interest in growth and a long-term outlook within the company.

About the Role/s

This role is an exciting opportunity for experienced water/environmental engineers to lead and contribute to meaningful projects within a unique and forward-thinking company.

The successful candidates will be involved in designing and implementing a wide range of projects spanning sustainable water engineering and nature-based infrastructure across industrial, agricultural and urban sectors, and in mentoring and growing our younger team members. 

We are looking for individuals with strengths and experience in one or more technical engineering disciplines with a strong water focus. We are looking for the right individuals, rather than defining a specific job role, so we prefer you to tell us how you think you can contribute.

Key Company Needs 

• Water engineering skills across civil, hydraulic, hydrology fields with an emphasis on engineering design competencies and experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and design capabilities

• Expertise in technical tools of trade including relevant engineering software including AutoCAD

• Aptitude for building relationships with Clients, partners and collaborators and winning work

• Preparation of project proposals and budget/schedule control

• Ability to manage projects in tandem with technical delivery

Location

Perth, Australia

To be successful for these roles you must have the legal rights to work in Australia and have:

• A degree in engineering, preferably with post-graduate training and a water focus.

• For the mid-level role, a minimum 5 years’ experience within the engineering sector.

• For senior and above roles, a minimum of 7 years of appropriate experience.

• Strong analytical, reporting and verbal communication skills.

• A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills

• Great mentoring skills and enthusiasm for helping to train and develop younger engineers in the team

• Excellent self-organisation skills and attention to detail.

• Strong computer literacy skills with demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs and specialist programs depending on your specific technical area of expertise.
