About the Role

In this role, you will provide mechanical design leadership across multiple project phases, ensuring designs are technically robust, compliant with Australian standards, and aligned with project requirements. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, supporting design coordination, construction activities, and commissioning to ensure successful project outcomes.
You will also play a key role in reviewing designs, managing vendor and subcontractor inputs, and supporting site-based engineering activities, ensuring quality, safety, and performance expectations are consistently met.
About You

You are confident collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and have strong communication skills that allow you to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers. You are detail-oriented, commercially aware, and capable of balancing technical requirements with project timelines and constraints.
What You’ll Bring

· Strong capability in P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and equipment selection
Strong capability across design, construction, and commissioning of pipelines, pump stations, or treatment systems
Experience working within highly regulated environments (WSA, Australian Standards, client specifications)
Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors
Experience contributing to HAZOP / Safety in Design and risk-based engineering decisions
Highly regarded: Chartered / NER / RPEQ and experience supporting FAT/SAT and vendor management
