We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Water Resources professional to join our Sydney-based Water Resources team.

By joining our team, you will work on the most transformative projects and have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading specialists. You will also be provided with opportunities to collaborate across interstate and international offices as part of the broader Water Resources sector.

How you’ll make a difference

• Deliver advanced flood modelling using TUFLOW hydraulics (and possibly HECRAS), and hydrology tools such as RAFTS, RORB, and WBNM.

• Undertake flood impact assessments, flood modelling, and contribute to major linear infrastructure projects

• Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders, including councils and environmental approvals authorities.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.

About You

The qualities that help you thrive

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.

• Experience in flood risk management, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, and mitigation.

• Knowledge of AR&R Guidelines 2019 and TfNSW standards.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
