About
the Role
This
position offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving operational
excellence and business performance at one of Australia’s critical water
infrastructure facilities.
Working
closely with operational teams, corporate stakeholders, and external partners,
you will lead the ongoing development, integration, and continuous improvement
of management systems across safety, quality, asset, and energy management
frameworks. You will also oversee key site administration functions to support
efficient day-to-day operations and compliance activities.
The
role combines systems leadership, process improvement, stakeholder engagement,
and operational administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys
improving the way teams work while ensuring strong governance and compliance
outcomes.
You
will be responsible for supporting audit readiness, maintaining management
system certifications, improving reporting and process workflows, and helping
embed a culture of continuous improvement across the site. This is a hands-on
role where you will work closely with operational teams to drive practical and
sustainable improvements.
About
You
You
are an experienced management systems, operational excellence, or
administration professional who enjoys working in complex operational
environments. You are comfortable coordinating across multiple teams, managing
competing priorities, and driving improvements through collaboration and strong
stakeholder engagement.
You
bring a practical mindset, strong organisational capability, and the ability to
communicate effectively with both operational and corporate stakeholders. You
are proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated to help improve systems,
processes, and team performance.
What
You’ll Bring
·
5+ years’ experience in management systems,
operational excellence, or site administration within an operational or project
environment
·
Strong capability in process improvement, systems
optimisation, and compliance coordination
·
Experience managing audits, corrective actions,
reporting, and document control
·
Confident stakeholder engagement and communication
skills across operational and corporate teams
·
Organised, proactive, and capable of driving
initiatives independently
Desirable:
·
Experience in utilities, industrial,
infrastructure, or water environments.
·
Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO9001,
ISO14001, ISO55001, ISO50001).
