About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving operational excellence and business performance at one of Australia’s critical water infrastructure facilities.

Working closely with operational teams, corporate stakeholders, and external partners, you will lead the ongoing development, integration, and continuous improvement of management systems across safety, quality, asset, and energy management frameworks. You will also oversee key site administration functions to support efficient day-to-day operations and compliance activities.

The role combines systems leadership, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and operational administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys improving the way teams work while ensuring strong governance and compliance outcomes.

You will be responsible for supporting audit readiness, maintaining management system certifications, improving reporting and process workflows, and helping embed a culture of continuous improvement across the site. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with operational teams to drive practical and sustainable improvements.

About You

You are an experienced management systems, operational excellence, or administration professional who enjoys working in complex operational environments. You are comfortable coordinating across multiple teams, managing competing priorities, and driving improvements through collaboration and strong stakeholder engagement.

You bring a practical mindset, strong organisational capability, and the ability to communicate effectively with both operational and corporate stakeholders. You are proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated to help improve systems, processes, and team performance.

What You’ll Bring

·         5+ years’ experience in management systems, operational excellence, or site administration within an operational or project environment

·         Strong capability in process improvement, systems optimisation, and compliance coordination

·         Experience managing audits, corrective actions, reporting, and document control

·         Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills across operational and corporate teams

·         Organised, proactive, and capable of driving initiatives independently

Desirable:

·         Experience in utilities, industrial, infrastructure, or water environments.

·         Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO55001, ISO50001).

Applications close Friday, 12 June 2026.
