About the role:
As a Site Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery of civil maintenance and construction projects across Unitywater’s water and wastewater networks. Working within our Private Works team, you will be responsible for coordinating site-based activities, planning and scheduling works, managing resources and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will provide technical guidance and support to construction crews while overseeing project performance, budgets, procurement, and stakeholder relationships. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Must have:
  • Experience in civil pipeline construction and associated water infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing crews in maintenance, construction, and replacement of water and wastewater assets.
  • Strong project coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of South East Queensland water and wastewater systems.
  • Certificate III in Construction and leadership training.
  • Current Drainer's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.
Nice to have:
  • Dogger and/or Rigger ticket.
  • Experience developing shutdown plans and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical and dewatering practices.
  • Experience with risk assessments and contractor management.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Maximo, eMap, and other relevant systems.
