About the Role

As a Regional Advisory Lead, you will act as a trusted advisor to water utility clients, supporting strategic decision-making and operational improvement across water and wastewater systems. Based in Perth, you will play a key role in strengthening SUEZ Advisory’s presence across the ANZ region and supporting strategic pursuits and client partnerships.

This role blends high-level advisory work with practical operational insight, drawing on your experience in water asset operations and consulting to deliver impactful, commercially sound solutions.

You will work closely with clients, internal specialists, and global experts to shape and deliver advisory engagements ranging from strategic planning and concept development through to operational optimisation and performance improvement.

Key areas of focus include:

·         Strategic advisory support for water utilities and infrastructure clients

·         Master planning, options analysis, and concept development

·         Operational optimisation and asset performance improvement

·         Risk identification and mitigation strategies

·         Preparation of technical and commercial advisory proposals

·         Supporting business development and client engagement activities across the region

About You

You are an experienced water industry professional with strong operational or consulting background and the ability to confidently engage with clients.

You enjoy solving complex water network and asset challenges, and translating technical insights into clear, practical solutions.

What You’ll Bring

·         Engineering degree or related discipline

·         Solid experience in water or wastewater operations, consulting, asset management, or technical advisory roles

·         Strong understanding of Australian water utility environments, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements

·         Experience delivering operational or asset optimisation initiatives, feasibility studies, or technical investigations

·         Practical expertise in areas such as network performance, asset reliability, risk management, or system optimisation

·         Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships and influence outcomes

·         Clear and confident communicator with experience preparing reports, proposals, and client presentations

·         Comfortable working across multiple sites with willingness to undertake domestic travel as required

·         Experience working with EPC contractors, utilities, or consulting environments (highly regarded)

·         Leadership development training or industry accreditations (e.g. Engineers Australia membership, CPEng) highly regarded

Desirable: experience with EPC contractors, digital water solutions, or leadership training
