Finance Support Officer

Permanent | Full Time

Salary between $72.3k and $91.5k per annum

• 9-day fortnight
• Generous employee entitlements including 17.5% superannuation
• 5 weeks annual leave per annum

Goldenfields Water County Council is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team in Temora.

This role supports Council’s payroll and finance operations, including end-to-end payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial system administration, and compliance with legislative and reporting requirements. The position also provides support across auditing, insurance, fleet administration, and broader Corporate Services functions.

We’re looking for someone with experience in payroll and finance administration, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and professionalism. A Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent experience) and a current NSW Class C driver’s licence are required. Local Government experience will be highly regarded.
