The Opportunity & Working With Us

We are seeking a full-time Commissioning Engineer to join our team in delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working alongside utilities, local councils, contractors, and asset owners. The Commissioning Engineers in our team are experienced, solution-focused professionals who excel in the areas of Electrical & Automation, Water Process and Completions.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A degree qualification in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Process or, a related Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in the water and wastewater industry or similar large-scale infrastructure sectors
  • Experience delivering projects for major water authorities such as Sydney Water, Melbourne Water, Unity Water, or similar organisations will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience transitioning newly constructed mechanical, electrical, and process assets into operation.
  • Experience in the energisation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment, including HV, LV, and ELV systems, pumps, valves, and associated infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
  • The ability to plan and execute commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment assets.
  • Experience developing commissioning documentation, including ITPs and ITCs.
  • The ability to prepare and deliver operational readiness documentation, including O&M Manuals, SOPs, maintenance plans, and operator training programs.
  • Experience developing cutover strategies and plans, and facilitate process cutovers.
  • A strong commitment to personal development, teamwork, and being comfortable commissioning unfamiliar processes.
  • Willingness to support the team in often challenging and ambiguous environments.
