About the role

This role is focussed on leading and delivering high-volume recruitment activities across Sydney Water, ensuring structured, efficient and scalable hiring approaches that support workforce demand.

You will play a key role in managing end-to-end volume recruitment campaigns while strengthening capability through workforce planning, stakeholder advisory, and continuous improvement of hiring practices.  The role combines hands-on delivery with a strong focus on planning, coordination and optimisation of recruitment processes.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the delivery of high-volume recruitment campaigns, manage end-to-end processes to ensure a consistent and efficient candidate and hiring manager experience. This includes coordination of campaign timelines, facilitating assessment centres, and utilising a range of selection tools to support high-quality hiring outcomes.

You will work across the business to strengthen workforce planning approaches, supporting leaders to define hiring needs and implement scalable recruitment strategies aligned to workforce demand.  A key aspect of the role is providing guidance and education to stakeholders on effective volume hiring practices, market insights and suggesting process improvements.

You will also contribute to the ongoing optimisation of recruitment processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficient across onboarding, selection and campaign delivery. This includes working closely with internal teams to streamline workflows and ensure alignment across the hiring lifecycle.

This role requires a strong focus on delivery during peak campaign periods, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining quality, process consistency and a positive hiring manager and candidate experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end high-volume recruitment campaigns within a complex environment.
  • Strong campaign management capability, with the ability to coordinate large-scale recruitment activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence stakeholders, providing guidance on recruitment strategy and best practice.
  • Experience facilitating assessment centres and applying a range of selection tools.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning and scalable hiring approaches.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
