The Workshop Supervisor (Electrical) is a trade-qualified Electrician responsible for leading and supervising electrical and mechanical assembly activities within the workshop and managing installation teams during site-based works.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise, workforce supervision, quality assurance, planning, and project delivery. The role is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, systems, and projects are constructed, tested, documented, installed, and commissioned safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to workshop electricians, technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with company procedures, Australian Standards, customer specifications, and project quality requirements.


Full-Time role under the Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020


·        Trade Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification relevant to the role.

·        Completion of a recognised four-year Electrical Apprenticeship.

·        Demonstrated experience within the water treatment industry is highly regarded. (Desirable)

·        Experience leading, supervising, and guiding teams of tradespeople both in the workshop and out onsite.

·        Background in new plant construction, including electrical installation and commissioning support.

·        Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, as well as effectively as part of a team.

·        Demonstrated strong work ethic and proactive approach to safety, quality, and productivity.

·        Experience completing and reviewing ITPs, ITCs, commissioning documentation and quality records.

·        Experience with PLC-based control systems and instrumentation. (Desirable).

·        High Risk Work Licences. (Desirable).

·        Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent supervisory training. (Desirable).

·        Proven ability to work to tight schedules and meet critical deadlines in high-pressure environments.

·        Commitment to conducting all work in accordance with Centurion Regional and Local Business Policies, including the Code of Conduct, Business Ethics Procedure, HSEQ Policy, and all applicable Project Execution Procedures.
