SUEZ is a partnership with SA Water delivering together in the Production and Treatment (P&T) Alliance trusted water services for a sustainable and healthy South Australia. Responsible for operating and maintaining five water treatment plants, five wastewater treatment plants, tanks, pump stations and control installations in Metropolitan Adelaide, the P&T Alliance encompasses expertise and solutions from SUEZ and SA Water working collaboratively as one team, one brand with shared responsibility for trusted water services that our community needs now and into the future.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join a high-performing maintenance team based in Hope Valley, supporting critical water infrastructure across Adelaide.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide both technical and people leadership, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will drive asset reliability, mentor and develop team members, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a strong safety culture across operations.
This role offers a balance of leadership and hands-on technical involvement, with responsibility for complex electrical, automation and control systems that are essential to the delivery of critical services to the community.
About You
You are a proven leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams while applying your technical expertise to solve complex operational challenges.
To be successful, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience leading and developing electrical maintenance teams
Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence
Strong experience with High Voltage (HV) systems
Advanced PLC programming, troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
Experience working with industrial automation and electrical control systems
A strong commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with SCADA systems will be highly regarded and considered an advantage.
