About UrbanGrad
UrbanGrad is more than a graduate program. It's the beginning of a long-term career at Urban Utilities.
Our newly designed 12-month graduate program combines meaningful work, rotational experiences, dedicated mentoring and structured development, with an assured ongoing permanent role upon successful completion.
From day one, you'll contribute to projects that make a genuine impact on our customers, communities and environment while developing the skills, confidence and networks to build a rewarding career in the water industry.

What you will be doing as an UrbanGrad
As a Finance UrbanGrad, you'll gain exposure to a range of corporate and strategic functions, including finance, financial planning, data and analytics, corporate governance, strategy, sustainability and regulation. Through your rotational experiences, you'll support enterprise-wide initiatives and work with stakeholders across the business to understand how financial and commercial decisions enable Urban Utilities to deliver essential services.
You'll have opportunities to analyse data, develop insights, contribute to infrastructure investment decisions and support planning activities connected to our enterprise strategy. These experiences will help you build a strong commercial foundation while developing an understanding of how Urban Utilities creates long-term value for customers, communities and the environment.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
Have completed, or be completing, a relevant degree within 24 months of the program commencement date of January 2027
Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or have unrestricted working rights
Have access to private transport to travel to our diverse operational locations.
